AOFM headed the ADA+NIK show held at the prestigious ME Hotel London. The designer duo Ada Zanditon and Nik Thakkar’s collection entitled “Noir Desir” was inspired by the dark desires of the twentieth century. The aesthetics were Roman Grecian meets Punk! This theme transcended into the makeup look which was skin perfected, completely natural with no visible trace of makeup. This look was all about great skin preparation. Headed by Key Artist Valentina Creti , our grads achieved this look by cleansing the skin with Dermalogica Ultra Calming Cleanser, followed by dermal exfoliation using Dermalogica Microfoliant to achieve an ultra smooth surface. The Models skin was hydrated using Dermalogica Active Moist Cream. The lips were moisturised using an artist fav, Hemeoplastine Ointment. Minimal amounts of MAC Pallete concealer was buffed into the skin to create an even tone. The brows were brushed and groomed upwards using MAC brow gels. The cheekbones were accentuated using MAC strobe cream, followed by a light cream contour to add depth, finished by a dusting of translucent MAC set powder. What made this look stand out was the additional sultry smokey eye. This was achieved using a soft milled shadow in shade truffle my MAC Cosmetics. The shadow was applied using the AOFM Pro Blending Brush softly pushed into the lash line, giving the look a dark, edgy rebellious energy!
