Grinko Milan Fashion Week AW15

The AOFM students were excited to be working with Grinko again for a 3rd season at Milan fashion week. The fashion brand SERGEI GRINKO, was established in Italy on 2009 by the Italian business partner Filippo Cocchetti, together with the same-name creative director of Russian origin Sergei Grinko. It is a young Maison, whose name comes from the Russian origins of the designer, but with a strong ‘Made in Italy vocation’, Grinko takes inspirations from the most fascinating cultural influences, his style encompasses traits deeply Italian, you want the choice of materials, but especially want the allure that releases and feats all of his creations.

The Aofm graduates arrived at the venue mid-afternoon and set up ready to go. The look for the show had a very grunge feel- We prepped the skin using Dermalogica ultra calming cleanser, this is used to cleanse the face and remove any excess dirt and oil. Multi Active toner was spritzed over the face to restore the PH balance of the skin. Hydrating booster was then applied to lock in moisture and active moist was massaged in to the face finishing off our skin prep. Skin was flawlessly highlighted and contoured. We started with Makeup Forever HD foundation buffed in with a dual fibre bush then a contour was added using the Mac contour palette, we finished off the skin with Mac Soft and Gentle highlighter added to the high points of the face. A solid black eye smoked out slightly on top using a black gel liner (Aqua black) MUA was used all over the lid, then a small Grey kohl pencil from Bobbi Brown was smudged under the lower lash line, a generous amount of mascara was added to the lashes, a small amount of gloss was added on top of the lid to give a glossy feel. To finish the look we added a nude lip; OCC Hollywood lip tar and patted in a little gloss on top.

A beautiful look with a grunge feel was created by our AOFM graduates to compliment the collection and the
wet style grunge hair of the 90s return.
