AOFMPro graduates were really excited to be invited to work for the first time with Leitmotiv the partnership of two creative minds: Juan Caro from Bogotá, Colombia and Milan born Fabio Sasso. The very beautiful Museo Del Novecento located in Palazzo dell’Arengario, in the very famous Piazza Del Duomo was the venue for the show titled “Arizona Dream: the desert of joy”. In the brand’s typical “printology”, sand became a backdrop for a dreamy kind of nature in which cactuses are in flowers amongst gorillas and sea-horses, flowers on a fuchsia background. Their equally signature “embroiderology” full yarn and three-dimensional techniques produced cactuses on which mushrooms and pansies flower. Denim, poplin, 3D mesh, laminated yarns, organza, cady silk and stretch mikado were the fabrics used and colours: fuchsia, sky blue, yellow and green. Our graduates had 18 models, 15 female and 3 male models to look after for this show. Before any of the makeup was applied the models skin was prepped using Dermalogica skincare. The skin was to have a demi matt feel to it so HD 4K Foundation was used. The main feature for today’s look was a metallic bloc silver eye applied with a metallic kohl pencil and silver eyeshadow pressed over the top to set the pencil. No Mascara. Illuminating highlight on the cheek bones and a bronzed blusher was used. A nude lip finished the look. Our team did such a great job on the makeup which complimented the colourful collection beautifully.
