With a 3pm call time, it was after a full day of exploring the city that the AOFM graduates headed over to Pier 59 to head up the makeup backstage at the PAXYMA presentation here in the Spring/Summer season of New York Fashion Week for what is our last show here.
Pier 59 is a beautiful venue that has panoramic views of Manhattan and happens to be one of the official New York Fashion Week venues, the perfect setting to end this leg of our famous Fashion Week Marathon.
As a brand, PAXYMA has strong values of being completely vegan, sustainable and cruelty free so in keeping with those morals, the graduate tea were to use only cruelty free brands backstage whilst creating the look which featured flashes of bright yellow around the eyes alongside classic beautiful fresh skin finished with lots of highlight for that added glow.
It was a very relaxed atmosphere backstage with plenty of time for the graduates to perfect the look before the beautiful presentation began which lasted for 90 minutes and was was heavily featured in the Fashion Week press.
A perfect end to what was a very busy New York Fashion Week, leaving the grads with a couple of days to explore the city before heading across the atlantic for London Fashion Week to begin!
