Hector Maclean’s collection demanded artistry with attitude, calling for a rebellious beauty look that fused punk spirit with aristocratic opulence.
The brief was daring and intricate, with each model’s look individually designed to reflect the collection’s bold aesthetic.
Backstage transformed into an artist’s studio, with palettes of neon pigments, shimmering crystals, and delicate pearls laid out for the team. The team meticulously executed painterly splashes of red, white, and blue face paint across the skin, layering vivid neons over carefully placed white bases to amplify colour intensity.
Pearls and crystals were hand-placed with precision, using wax pencils and fine brushes to ensure perfect placement and adhesion. The finishes were diverse yet cohesive—some looks focused on structured embellishment, while others embraced freeform, expressive strokes of paint.
