This season saw us join another two day fashion extravaganza during London Fashion Week, this time with Stories From Morocco. The event saw all different Arabic and Middle Eastern designers travel to London to showcase their beautiful creations.
Headed up by a graduate along with a full team of graduates there to support him, the event saw a showcase of 12 designers on each day and therefore, lots of makeup! It was important for the makeup to be simple enough that it could translate between each designers whilst also having a big enough impact to be seen through the colors and embroidery found in most of the clothes shown. The designers collaborated in their vision and decided on beautiful skin paired with gold flakes added to the tear duct for a pop of glamour.
The event was very generously sponsored by BellaPiere Cosmetics and therefore each of our graduates working backstage on the show were given an extensive kit worth over £1000! The graduates used the beautiful products supplied to follow the brief set by the key artist, changing lip colours throughout each day and also adding touchups.
We are very proud to have been able to offer one of our experienced grads the chance to be a key makeup artist at a show during London Fashion Week and it is an absolute testimony to his hard work why the shows were so successful!
